Carol Latham (Business owner) – I was amazed at the shift in my awareness once I accepted that I am the one totally responsible for myself and the world. Playfulness of the exercises reminded me that I need to be more childlike. My pain in the wrist went away. SSY allowed me to slow down, relax and take some time for me. I thought I ate healthy and was getting restorative sleep and was energetic. Raw foods and meditation showed me otherwise. Within a day of practice my irritation with a change at work got resolved- there was a win-win for everyone involved. My positive attitude created even more support & enthusiasm from my husband.

Hiren Shah (Engineer) - SSY made me more energetic and highly aware. I now look at myself as a child with unlimited potential. I am now confident of quitting any unwanted habit. I can understand my other family members and colleagues better now and see myself as naturally giving or taking responsibilities. In spite of attending so many spiritual programs in India I was not able to commit to anything properly. My own trust and confidence in the ancient India wisdom is restored with SSY.

Dr. Jayashri Vyas (Gynecologist) – I was thirsty for more clarity in knowledge and SSY gave me that clarity. Now I know which path-way to follow. Before SSY I was practicing Yoga, Pranayam etc. but I was not consistent. With SSY I am now confident that I will be able to make all the changes I want whether it is in reducing my Blood pressure or improving relationships with people at home or at work. SSY is a complete Ashtanga Yoga and now I am committed to my Yoga Sadhana.

Jennifer Menasha (Grad student at UCI) – I was emotionally depressed, anxious, stressed and confused but after taking SSY for the 2^nd time everything has changed. I am happy and relaxed now. I feel confident to commit now. I realized important of Pranayam and meditation and that it will affect my mind and body positively beyond intellect.

Gita Shrivastava (home maker) – I had a digestion problem which was cured after SSY. I used to always be worried about things but I feel calm and relax now. Instead of being argumentative, I can easily forgive now. I have slowed down a lot and able to enjoy life.

Vidya Parashar (Student) – I joined SSY to clear my mind and understand myself better. I have Asthma & severe allergies and I wanted to keep my physical, mental, emotional levels in tune. I used to be worried, groggy, drowsy and lazy and agitated, frustrated, depressed and also I use to get easily angered. But after SSY I became Calm. I don’t need to not taking inhaler as much as before, I feel energetic, no sneezing. I now know how to calm myself. Feel positive in attitude. I feel excited about studies and enjoy the process. Feel more aware. Feel genuinely happy about things. Wake up early and eat healthy food now. Thoughts are better organized and less scattered. Regular practice of Pranayam has reduced my napping. I am more approachable now and am able to see others point of view. Overall feel more disciplined.

Nandini Bijoor (Home maker) – I had taken many different spiritual programs like “Art of Living, Brahmakumari, Kriya Yoga etc. But I still had many questions, my mind wasn’t calm. I used to be anxious, doubtful and constantly questioning my own decisions also felt lack of confidence. I joined SSY to gain better health and calming my mind. After SSY I feel very energetic and confident. Understanding about life has improved.

Deepthi Suryadeva (young married woman recently moved to US looking for job) – I had constipation and was suffering from hyper acidity. With SSY training my acidity is gone and constipation problem is also under control.

Vishal Deshmukh (PhD student working in Scripps) – I joined SSY to get Peace of mind, calmness, body-mind control. I used to be always tense & busy. I was generally healthy but tired and agitated. Always felt there is too much to do. I was focused only around work and had no other activities. I used to sometimes feel angry, unhappy and uneasy. I used to eat non-vegetarian food daily and drank a lot of coffee throughout the day. With SSY training I now feel more healthy and energetic. I feel calm, peaceful, relaxed, motivated. I feel more involved with my work but calm. My acceptance level has improved and I feel happy. I feel that I can direct my energies better, feel purposeful and my awareness level has gone up. I am now improving my food habits, sleeping on time and got rid of dependence on coffee.

Meera Upasani (Business owner) – I used to practice meditation but wanted to learn Pranayam properly. Earlier I used to be happy but less energetic and stressed. My thoughts were scattered and I used to take life too seriously. I wasn't much interested in spiritual learning. After SSY training I feel more energetic and am able to manage my thoughts better now. I can look at life lightly. My interest in spirituality has increased. My lethargy is completely gone and I feel more motivated to practice Pranayam daily.
