Final reminder for AMC 1 & 2

Dear self,

Survival is a basic instinct of every living being. It is a natural gift given to every living being along with intelligence necessary to survive. With this we have also inherited the faculty of growing continuously.

In every life threatening condition it is with these qualities we keep ourselves alive OR in favorable situations we grow ourselves to the next level of our existence. This is happening not as our conscious decision but as a natural
reflex of our body, mind and senses.

When a threat is sensed even a smallest animal knows that it has hide into a safer place. And if there is no possibility for flight then with all its strength it will fight the situation until he wins or loses its life. Both this happens before his conscious mind is even aware of his actions. Both ways he is flowing with the life. This is a complete non-doing as there is no conscious effort involved.

Same is the case with nature's growing. How to use a favorable situation to get food or other needs are not taught in school to any animal or plant. They just by their own instincts know where and how to find or hunt for food, water, sunlight etc. Again this happens with an inbuilt quality of growing and keeping the self alive.

Non-doing is an intrinsic quality of nature.

Then why is it that human beings who have more intelligence and also are gifted with a WILL to use that intelligence to his benefit, spend all their lives only for surviving? Don't we have enough natural instincts for surviving and growing? Why do we take so much effort in every aspect of our living? Why our intellect is not able to see that I am capable to survive and grow no matter how horrible the external environment is?

Why are we so scared to live? Is our will only for controlling others? Or it is for becoming more and more helpless survivor?

On one side we the powerful human beings take pride in conquering nature. We want to control weather, water, sun, earth everything that we can lay our hands on. But  feel  totally helpless when it comes to our own survival issues. We feel stressed in just feeding our self or a family of 2 or 3. We cannot carry the burden of our own life!

These questions will remain unanswered until we look for the answers outside. These are some questions we need to answer in our own true silence.

The will is given to us for directing our intelligence for protecting others who are not as well equipped to live as I am. Our will is given to us so that instead of just protecting our biological children we can expand our love & care to protect and nurture many more - all? This is the way we expand our parenting role from our homes to the whole world. This is true "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam". This truly is "YOG" - union of Jeevatman to Paramatman !

And this too is built in within us. This too is non-doing, effortless, natural !

When we are connected with our natural self in deeper silence it is very apparent to us how truly powerful we are. Only then our struggle for survival will end and we will start living as a child of nature just like any other small or big animal, a hugs tree or a vulnerable creeper lives, grows, gives and enjoys every moment as the last moment of life. In nature "how long" has no significance.

GOD is not an entity but it is an awareness of having been taken care of, confidence of being able to take care of others, feeling of complete trust that this is my world where I have all the time to do what I really care for.

In natural silence GOD right within us and everywhere around. With GOD within us we are beyond survival. Then we are willfully walking towards the complete freedom from survival where we can live joyfully. Peace is no more a dream or wish but it becomes our own experiential reality – our TRUTH!
