Jai Gurudev!
I am sure after completing your SSY class, you are continuing your daily practice of Pranayam (once a day), Samadhi Abhyasa - study ( twice a day) and eating your daily quota of raw food (at least 60%). I am also sure that you are implementing the basic principles of Joyous Living by operating as a parent of this world in your life.
But in our daily practice many times we forget that Enlightenment is Beyond Practice. It is the spirit with which we live; it is about our state of being operating as that free unbounded self expressing joy through everything we offer.
Guru reminds us of our true nature with his words of wisdom. Regular inspiration from him and receiving clearance on difficulties faced in our spiritual practice keeps us growing. He keeps us directed towards our Vision. He encourages us so we maintain our enthusiasm and remain inspired to grow in our inner silence. Inspiration is a key to advancement in spirituality.
For spiritual development it is also necessary that we regularly meet our fellow seekers. Exchanging experiences with other seekers will keep our enthusiasm going. Spiritual gatherings (Satsangs) play a key role in advancement in our spiritual journey.
By being with the Guru we become powerful in our own inner silence and being with our SSY sadhaks together we serve the world.
