Real life experience sharing from Srujana on how SSY helped her in recent car accident

dear fellow beings,
Srujana is one of our very best ISP trainers who did participate as a parent in developing the ISP programs.
She is at present in Bangalore and she recently met with a major accident.
A truck hit their car from back and she was the only one to get severe injuries.. We may wonder why she alone! Yes, because God knew that she can
take it with ease and demonstrate what it means to face life in critical situations with a smile that is very much natural to her….Me and Gayathrima
went to see her in the hospital after surgery. to our wonder she looked as bright as she always used to be for us.Yes, you can read her own emails
after about a week of surgery.
(*You may reciprocate her concern for all of us in sharing these wonderful experiences)*

Regards,
Raviji

Subject: Ease vs Disease

When I realized something happened as blood was rushing down my shoulders,
I first checked my family then took deep breaths. I took charge of myself. Following are the steps taken...
1. Asked them not to move my back under threat.put neck collar, first aid to head.
2. Mudra pranayama, 'so-hum' for next 250km travel by road back to city hospital.
3.just before reaching hospital, took out ornaments for MRI scan .
4.Already pain under control before Reaching hospital, they tried to examine which got my pain back.I requested and explained my condition. They
sent me for scan without delay.
5.Diagnosed fractures in back.
6.I was shifted to ICU . I was so much at ease and okness.
7. They pricked the drip injecting pain killer's, I vomited but without moving neck fracture.
8.I asked Doctor about my condition.he explained the future surgery and said it will be next day afternoon. He asked me if it is ok. All laughed
along with me when I replied, of course I am absolutely free if you are in healthy condition and stitch my head too if ok.
9.Continued pranayama and focus on healing. Nurtured my body and soul with high 'pranashakti' . Energy ready for surgery.
10. Total acceptance of the condition , no rejection.
11. Just before surgery began, I reminded doctor not to forget to stitch my head wounds.
12.After 5hrs surgery back to ICU. Can you believe that before surgery I asked nursing staff to clean my face and wash my hair full of blood, as I
knew for few days hair wash may not be possible until stitches are removed. Women are women... hahaha!
13.next 5 days in coconut water diet and next 5days juices, soup. Wow detoxify and weight loss . Feels good.
14. Healing with prana and positive attitude. Next challenge was to walk. I did very well with my hubby support which was important part of my
recovery. He believed in my energy and inspired me to recover fast. It's icing on cake to have such partner. I joked as my catwalk began, he took my
snaps. I walked from day 5 and climbed stairs as well on day 8. I will send the snaps u must see. Music helped in soothening the situation well.

Diagnosed; c6_7 disc prolapse with dislocation.c1 Anterior fracture.D5 fracture. head injured.
Surgery done.; Anterior cervical discectomy/corpectomy with instrumentation for sub axial cervical spine. Plus 14 stitches on head.

I had and i have been smiling..there is no wrinkle of pain on my face !
Have a great day!
